All students join a House when they begin at Geelong Lutheran College.
This will be the House they belong to from Prep to Year 12, and any younger sibling will join the same House when they commence at GLC.
We have four Houses with the colours of each House the same at both GLC St John's Newtown and GLC Armstrong Creek,. The names are different at each campus and reflect the history and location of the individual campuses. Year 6 students at GLC St John's Newtown will remain in the same coloured House when they commence Year 7 at GLC Armstrong Creek.

Students compete in their House groups during sporting carnivals and events where they earn points for their Houses. In the Secondary years, there are also opportunities for students to earn points for their House through non-sporting activities.
