Geelong Lutheran College provides a valuable private bus service to and from the GLC Armstrong Creek campus and limited services to the GLC St John’s Newtown campus.
GLC buses are equipped with the RollCall system which allows parents to see when their child/ren have ‘tapped on’ and ‘tapped off’ the bus using their student cards. It also allows parents to live track the bus, all from the RollCall Parents mobile app.
The RollCall ‘2025 Bus Routes’ (located at the bottom of the page) shows the areas our bus routes currently service:

- Bannockburn / Inverleigh
- Lara / St John’s Newtown
- Highton
- Torquay
- Portarlington
- Anglesea
- Winchelsea
- Waurn Ponds
The cost for a full year of bus travel is $1,280 per student for full time travel and $850 for part time use (up to five trips per week). A fee of $13 per trip for casual users will be charged for one-off trips only. Casual travel is not always available due to limited seating capacity and is only by arrangement with the Bus Coordinator at buses@glc.vic.edu.au. As of 2025, the cost for using the bus service full time and part time will be charged with school fees and casual travel to be paid through RollCall.
Where families are eligible for Conveyance Allowance for private bus travel (GLC buses), this will be directed to the College to help offset the cost of the College’s bus service.
