Inclusive Education Leader (Secondary)
Geelong Lutheran College is seeking a dynamic and passionate Inclusive Education Leader to join our Secondary team in 2025.
We are committed to providing a creative and engaging learning environment. This is an excellent chance for you to motivate and inspire students as well as sharing your knowledge and leading a team of Learning Coaches (Student Support Officers).

Armstrong Creek Campus:
Inclusive Education Leader (Secondary)
Based at the Geelong Lutheran College Armstrong Creek (P-12) campus, the Inclusive Education Leader (Secondary) is responsible for promoting an inclusive educational environment through overseeing and monitoring the academic welfare of students with diverse educational needs. This includes students with high intellectual potential and those requiring additional learning support in different areas of the curriculum.
Reporting to the Head of Secondary, the Inclusive Education Leader (Secondary) operates in close collaboration with the Director of Teaching and Learning (Secondary), Heads of Faculty and subject teachers to provide optimum learning opportunities for students with diverse needs.
This will include leading a committed team in:
- planning and coordinating the delivery of additional support for students and in fostering their holistic development
- providing support and guidance to teaching staff in the development and implementation of appropriate programs that support students with diverse learning needs
- ensuring learning opportunities and tasks are differentiated to optimise student growth
- actively pursuing the values, vision, goals and pathways of the College’s Strategic Plan
Qualifications:
- Qualification in education of students with diverse educational needs
- Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Current VIT Registration
Position Details:
- Part time 0.6 FTE plus 0.4 FTE teaching load
- Commencing in Term 1, 2025
