Student Voice In Action

Student voice is important at GLC, and one platform that facilitates this is our Student Representative Councils in our Primary schools.

Each class in Years 2-6 elects a SRC representative, who meets with their fellow campus reps and Head of Primary two or three times a term to discuss important matters relating to Primary students.

Their main responsibility is to gain feedback from their classes, which has led to new initiatives and changes in recent years, including more Lunchtime Clubs at both campuses, new welcome signage and the Gaga Pit at GLC St John's Newtown and more sporting equipment and House events at Armstrong Creek.
