Recently, both our campus communities celebrated Mother’s Day with a special breakfast for all the mums and special people of our College, along with staff and students.
This has been annual event at Armstrong Creek for a few years, while this year was the inaugural breakfast event over at St John’s Newtown. Despite a chilly start on both mornings, parents and students enjoyed a hot breakfast thanks to our friends at Rotary East Geelong.
Students also took the opportunity to make a special Mother’s Day card and all mums and special people received a small gift. At SJ a bookmark and cookie (expertly baked by a very talented SJ student) and at AC a bookmark and chocolates.
After two years of limited events on campus, it was a delight to see so many people reconnect, with each other, the school and the teachers.
We hope all our mums and special people had a great Mother’s Day!
