Running, jumping, balancing and laughing – our Junior Sports Days for Prep – Year 2 students at each campus had it all.

GLC Armstrong Creek’s Celebration of Movement Day on 17 October featured six rotating activities: Potato Race, Kangaroo Race, Tunnel Ball, Sack Race, Egg and Spoon Race and Mini Hurdles, before students took part in year level sprints.

On 14 November, it was our St John’s Newtown campus’ turn to get active for their Celebration of Movement Day. Students rotated through sprints, high jump, mini hurdles, gymnastics, long jump and a circuit of activities. At both events, there were also some great parent and teacher races, which were very entertaining to our students.
