That's a wrap for Term 1.
We give thanks to God for a term full of amazing experiences, learning and a strong sense of community connection.
Our Armstrong Creek campus finished the term with a whole Prep-Year 12 Easter Chapel service. Well done to students who performed in the Prep-Year 2 and Year 3-Year 6 Choirs, those who shared their personal faith journey or lead the College in a reading and prayer, and to all the students involved in the Easter Play, your dedication and creative passion is so wonderful to see. Thank you to Mr Gollasch for putting together another wonderful performance.
Easter is the Christian holiday remembering Christ’s sacrifice for us on the cross and celebrating His resurrection three days after his crucifixion. In Christian tradition, the Resurrection of Jesus represents His victory over death and the promise of eternal life for those who follow Him.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3)".
In Christ’s resurrection, darkness is reversed by light, hatred by reconciliation, sin by forgiveness, and the reign of the evil by the reign of Christ; “death is destroyed, and victory is complete” (1 Corinthians 15:54)". Christ is alive, and we wish all our GLC community members a blessed and joyous Easter, and a well deserved school holiday break.
We look forward to seeing everyone well rested and ready for another term of learning on Wednesday 26 April.
