In line with the Lutheran faith foundation of GLC Armstrong Creek the study of German continues to be an important part of the curriculum. Recently the Year 9/10 German class spent time learning about the history of Germany after World War 2, with a particular focus on the differences between the East and West parts of the nation. The study involved a recreation of the Berlin Wall, with the students exploring the emotions and the numerous cries for help from the people living in the East part of Germany before 1989.
