4 November 2022
Week 3 was a momentous week for our Armstrong Creek Year 12 students, with their final classes and Celebration Day.
Celebration Day was full of laughs, smiles, hugs, and a few tears as the Class of 2022 had their final class photo, received portraits of themselves painted by the Prep students, and departed the College through a ‘guard of honour’ made up of their Prep to Year 11 peers, staff and families.
Following their final day of class, our Year 12s had their Valedictory Service. It was an important and moving occasion for the 44 students, who were presented with their certificates in their graduation gowns and had their stoles turned by mentors chosen by each student.
The special events to mark the end of their secondary school journey didn’t end there, however, with a Valedictory Dinner held at Mt Duneed Estate last week. The students enjoyed a lovely dinner with their teachers, which featured speeches from students and staff, as well as a slideshow of memories from throughout the year.
Thanks to everyone involved in making Celebration Day, the Valedictory Service and Valedictory Dinner such a success. We wish the 2022 Year 12 cohort God’s blessings for their future.
