Music was in the air on Thursday 25 July as GLC Armstrong Creek students took to the stage as part of our first Primary and Secondary music concerts of the year.

The Primary Concert showcased our Strings Ensemble led by Rachel Anderson and Year 6 Band, as well as our Prep, Year 1 & 2, and Year 3 to 6 Choirs, led by Kristin Symes. It was amazing to see over 200 performers take part, developing their performance skills at the same time. We look forward to hearing them all again in Term 4. 

The Secondary Concert included a wide range of music genres. The Chamber Orchestra played arrangements of ‘Bad Guy’, ‘Seven Nation Army’ and ‘The Avengers Theme’. The evening also included our Concert Band and Jazz Band showcasing the woodwind and brass families. Our rock band program included the Year 7 - 9 Rock Band, Year 10 - 12 Rock Band and Year 11 VET Music Band. It was great to see such a myriad of styles being performed across the concert.
