Book Week 2022 is fast approaching and it is always a special highlight on our College calendar.

This year’s Book Week will take place from 20 to 26 August with the theme ‘Dreaming with eyes open…’. Activities will take place at both campuses throughout the week, including the Book Week Parade. At St John's Newtown, the Book Week Parade will take place on Wednesday morning 24 August, and at our Armstrong Creek campus it will take place on Monday morning 22 August. Students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite fictional characters, and parents are invited to attend.

To kick start Book Week activities, Armstrong Creek Primary Art Teacher Emma Holloway and Librarian Ingrid Marshall connected art and literature with an art workshop for staff, predominantly from our primary team. The Book Week theme was expressed through three activities and was a wonderful afternoon for those who took part.
