The Armstrong Creek Senior School Pop-Up Op Shop last Friday was an awesome success.

Organised by our VCAL students, we had over 450 items donated by the generous GLC community and sold around 260 garments. We raised just over $250 for The Salvation Army and donated the remaining clothes to their cause. Thank you to the GLC community for the generous donations and support on the day. The idea for the op shop pop-up came from our VCAL students’ focus on a social justice unit on homelessness, which is aligned with our Personal Development Skills VCAL curriculum.
