Have you considered joining the GLC Armstong Creek Parents & Friends group?
Joining the P & F group at GLC Armstrong Creek is a wonderful opportunity to get involved in the College community.
The purpose of the P & F is to build relationships with families, develop friendships and strengthen our community, along with contributing to vital fundraising events.
Recent projects delivered by the team include: the Entertainment Book fundraiser (ongoing), the Easter Hot Cross Buns drive, the Cross Country Sausage Sizzle, and the High School Musical pre-show food and drinks.
The funds raised from these events go directly to benefit our students, contributing to equipment such as the new Nature Playgrounds, or to programs like the recently implemented Story Dogs (pictured), helping reluctant and anxious readers build confidence in their reading.
The group meets in the College Staffroom (or via Zoom) on a bi-monthly basis. The next meeting is on July 27 at 6.30pm. If you would like to get involved please email Principal Sue Ellis, at sue.ellis@glc.vic.edu.au
